Don’t Blame Me by Taylor Swift
I don’t know why Grayson Dolan had such an effect on me, but he did. He closed the final distance putting his lips to mine. This kiss just as good as the first. His kisses were surprisingly tender for his rough exterior.
“skip school with me.” Grayson said kissing from my lips to my jawline.
“I can’t skip school, and neither should you.” I said looking at his handsome face.
“come on babe, live a little.” He said smirking.
I felt the blush return to my cheeks as he called me babe.
“I mean you’ve already let your hair down.” Grayson said moving my hair and placing a kiss on my exposed neck.
I felt the breath get caught in my throat as Grayson kissed down my neck and towards my collar bone.
“fine.” I said giving in to him.
“wait really?” He said smiling like a little kid.
“You know ever since we’ve partnered up, I’ve been making some Bad Decisions.” I said smirking.
“oh baby we’re just getting started.” Grayson said grabbing my hand.
He opened the door looking down both sides of the hallway.
“how exactly are we going to sneak out of school?” I asked squeezing his hand.
“You do realize who you’re with right? I’m the king of stuff like this.” He said pulling me out of the classroom and down the hall.
we started running down the hall. I’m not going to lie, being around Grayson gave me this certain type of thrill, and I wanted more of it. we were just about at the entrance when a teacher walked out of the teachers lounge. Grayson quickly pushed us both flat against the wall. I felt the redness spread on my face as our bodies were pushed against each other. I knew Grayson was fit, but feeling his muscular chest pressing me against the wall made me realize just how buff he really was.
“are they gone?” I whispered looking up at him.
“I think so.” He whispered checking the hall.
“well what are we waiting for.” I asked smirking at him.
“I kind of like this position.” Grayson said leaning down and capturing my lips with his.
I laughed pushing him off.
“let’s go before we get caught.” I said grabbing his hand and checking the hall again.
“a woman who takes charge, I like it.” He said smirking.
Grayson and I laughed as we sprinted out the front doors and away from our high school. We kept running until the school was just something in the distance. We finally stopped, each of us breathing heavily.
“oh my gosh, I can’t believe I just snuck out of school!” I said looking at him.
“you’re a real bad girl now.” Grayson said laughing.
“not everyone can be as bad as you Dolan.” I said brushing his shoulder with my own.
He grabbed my hand as we started walking down the sidewalk.
“so what are we going to do?” I asked as I admired his handsome face.
He really was a sight to look at. He had the most perfectly sharp jawline that could probably cut your finger if you ran your finger across it. His eyes perfectly enhanced by his dark eyebrows, even though one of them had slits in it, it made him that much more attractive.
“well I want to show you something.” He said squeezing my hand.
“what do you want to show me?” I asked curious.
“It’s a surprise.” He said smirking.
We strayed off the sidewalk and started walking down a path in the woods.
“Seriously Grayson where are we going.” I asked gripping on to his muscular arm.
“don’t you trust me?” He asked laughing.
“well the boy who is best know for being bad is dragging me in to the woods, what am I supposed to think.” I said laughing.
“ouch babe, I’m kind of hurt, but lucky for you we’re here.” Grayson said moving a bush out of the way.
“wow.” I said stepping out from the bushes.
It was a waterfall and a little river hidden right here in our small town.
“how did you find this?” I asked looking at him amazed.
“Ethan and I found it when we were younger. I’ve uh, never brought anyone else here.” Grayson said shyly looking at me.
“well thank you for bringing me, it’s a beautiful view.” I said giving him a smile.
“view?” He questioned.
Suddenly Grayson pulled his shirt over his head. I couldn’t help but stare at his toned chest and abs.
“what are you doing?” I questioned my voice a little shaky.
He smirked at me before pulling off his shorts so he was just left in his boxers. I was sure my face was flushing bright red at this point. Grayson smirked at me before he started climbing some rocks. I could see his arm and back muscles flex as he climbed the rocks to the top of the waterfall.
“Grayson are you crazy?” I called up to him.
He ran jumping off the waterfall in to the water below. I laughed at him as he rose from the water, on a adrenaline rush.
“you have got to be kidding me, do you have a death wish?” I laughed as he walked closer to me.
Just when I thought he couldn’t get any sexier, here he was water dripping from his wet hair down his fit body.
“well are you going to join me or just stand there.” He said shaking his hair so the water would get on me.
“I don’t know Grayson.” I said hesitantly.
“oh come on babe, live a little. You don’t have to be afraid of everything you know” He said smirking.
“I am not afraid of everything.” I defended.
“then what are you waiting for?” He smirked.
I looked at him and at the waterfall.
“see I told you, you’re scared.” He said crossing his arms over his chest.
I glared at him as I quickly lifted my shirt over my head. Grayson’s eyes got wider as I slowly pulled my pants down my legs, leaving me in just my bra and underwear. His mouth hung open ever so slightly as he looked me up and down. I took this opportunity to splash him with water.
“hey!” He yelled making me laugh.
I grabbed on to the rocks and started to climb, Grayson was right behind me “making sure I didn’t fall” but really he was just staring at my butt.
“if you fall it’s okay I got you.” He said laughing.
“touch my butt and you won’t have to jump because I’ll push you.” I said sticking my tongue out at him as we reached the top.
I walked over to the edge looking at the drop down.
“you okay?” Grayson asked standing beside me.
I looked at him extending my hand. He smiled grabbing on to my hand. We jumped off the waterfall, screaming on the way down. I shrieked as the water enveloped my body. I swam to the top taking in a breath of fresh air. Grayson swam over to me wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me closer to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist.
“I’m honestly surprised in you.” Grayson said smiling at me.
“In me? Why is that?” I asked laughing.
“I don’t know, you’re just so much different than I expected you to be, in a good way, in a really good way.” He said smiling.
“yeah you’re different too.” I said smiling.
“I’m much sexier than you’d thought I’d be right?” He said laughing.
“yeah something like that.” I said laughing too.
our laughter died down as we both just stared at each other.
“were you really nervous to talk to me?” I asked running my fingers through his wet hair.
“honestly, yes.” He said smiling.
“why would you be nervous to talk to me? I mean you’re Grayson Dolan and well I’m just me.” I said looking in to his soft brown eyes.
“I was nervous because well I didn’t have the best reputation. I was nervous because you’re so much better than I am. You’re smart, kind, beautiful, and I’m just a troublesome kid. I didn’t want to drag you down, but now I don’t think I can stay away from you. You don’t know how long I’ve admired you.” Grayson said looking in my eyes.
“I don’t think I can stay away from you either Grayson.” I said leaning my forehead on his.
I slowly placed my lips on his, him immediately kissing back. I ran my hands through his hair causing him to let out a groan. Grayson licked my lips but I decided to tease him and not let him in. His hands traveled from my waist to my butt, squeezing it and making me gasp. Grayson used the opportunity to slip his tongue in. I felt wild as his tongue massaged mine. I’d never kissed anyone like this, but I was here now, with him.
“I can’t breath.” I said pulling away.
“I’m so happy you decided to skip school with me today.” Grayson said resting his forehead on mine.
“speaking of school, we should probably head out, got to pick Sophia up.” I said untangling myself from Grayson.
We swam to the edge of the river bank hopping out of the water. I felt a chill as the air hit me. Grayson and I pulled our clothes back on, Grayson wrapping his sweatshirt around my shoulders. We started walking back hand in hand.
“we can take a short cut through this alley.” I said pointing down on of the back alleys.
Grayson nodded his head as we took a short cut through the alley. We rounded a turn to see Nate and his posse standing there. We tried to turn back around but they had us blocked in.
“Grayson.” I panicked, grabbing his arm.
“what Dolan, you think you can just beat me up and get away with it?” Nate growled looking at us.
Grayson wrapped a protective arm around me.
“look Nate, you can do whatever you want to me, but let her go.” Grayson said looking at all the boys.
“oh come on Grayson where’s the fun in that? I want her to watch as we beat the shit out of you.” Nate smirked.
“please we don’t have to do this.” I said fearful for what was about to happen.
“of course we have to do this, you got me suspended. I can’t play in the championship basketball game because of you.” Nate growled.
there were too many of them. Grayson looked and me giving me a sad look.
“it’s okay.” He said kissing my forehead.
I could feel a tear fall from my eye as the boys closed in on us. One of them roughly grabbed me away from Grayson holding me so I’d have to watch the entire thing. They grabbed Grayson’s arm’s before kicking his legs out from under him. Nate smirked before he punched Grayson straight in the face. I tried to look away but one of the other boys grabbed my face roughly making me look. Nate punched him again, and again. Grayson took each blow, without saying a word. The boys let go of his arms and he fell over, bloodied and beaten. Nate sent a hard kick into his side making him groan in pain.
“stop please.” I begged, tears falling from my eyes.
Nate walked over grabbing my chin roughly.
“stop? you want me to stop?” He growled.
He yelled before kicking Grayson again in the ribs.
“please, you’ve done enough!” I cried.
“think about this next time you decide to fuck with me Dolan. Next time I’m going to take it out on your girl too.” Nate said slapping him on the cheek.
the boy that was holding me roughly shoved me to the ground before walking away with the others. I immediately got up running over to Grayson.
“Grayson” I called crying.
He was barely conscious, blood covering his face.
“are you okay?” He choked out bringing a hand up to touch my face.
“you just got beat up and your asking me if I’m okay?” I said wiping a tear that fell from my eye.
“I just love you.” He said bringing a hand to put on my cheek.
“I love you too.” I said leaning down to kiss his bloodied lips.
